Recruitment and selection process

At Outsourcery, we focus on attracting and hiring the best people. We recognise that the success of the business lies in its people and it’s our people that keep us leading from the front. Therefore, we are committed to providing a recruitment and selection process that is a two-way dialogue, straightforward and easy to understand.

APPLICATION STAGE

Register
It’s that simple. Whether you apply directly through our careers website or via our employee referral scheme, all candidates are required to complete the registration process. This only takes a couple of minutes and involves submitting your CV and some basic background information. You will receive an email acknowledging your registration.

Apply
Review all of our current vacancies and just click to apply. You will receive an email acknowledging your application for a specific vacancy.

Consideration and Review
Your CV will be reviewed by the hiring manager against the required criteria. All applications will receive notification on whether or not they have been successful. Your CV will be kept on file and you may be considered for future suitable vacancies.

Outcome
Should you be successful in meeting the required criteria, a member of our recruitment team will be in touch to ask you some screening questions. This is also a good opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the role and the company.

Interview Stages

Telephone Interview
For some roles, you may be required to have a telephone interview with the hiring manager. Lasting approximately twenty minutes, this helps us to assess your suitability for the role and gives you a greater insight in to the company and the opportunity. Your contact in our recruitment team will keep you informed throughout the process and be your first point of call for any questions you may have.

1st Stage Interview
A face-to-face interview will be arranged at a suitable time, date and location for both you and the hiring manager. The competency-based questions will vary depending on the role but are designed to give you the opportunity to tell us about your experience and your motivation in applying to work at Outsourcery. Interview questions are designed around our core competencies and technical skills. Note that some roles will also require a technical test to be completed.

2nd Stage Interview
This stage will involve you meeting the business area Director and it is a good opportunity for you to get to know more about the intricacies of the role you have applied for. You will also get a better understanding of the Outsourcery culture and have a chance to ask any more questions you might have. For senior management positions, this stage may be with the Co-CEOs.

OFFER STAGE

Confirmation
Once the interview process has been completed, your contact in our recruitment team will be in touch to advise you of the outcome. Upon successful completion of the recruitment process, you will be progressed to the offer stage. You may also request feedback from your interviews if you were unsuccessful.

Verbal Offer
A member of the recruitment team will make you a verbal offer and answer any questions you may have at this time. They will also support you through the processes involved in confirming your offer, such as our reference procedure, prior to your start date.

Written Offer
This will be emailed and posted to you within 24 hours of you accepting a verbal offer of employment and will contain your offer letter, contract of employment and any relevant new-starter paperwork.
