A new iPhone could be in the way before the summer, according to reports.
Rumours are spreading that Apple is set to make the fourth generation model of the popular smartphone available as early as May.
It had previously been suggested that the latest iPhone would not hit the shelves until July.
Not only is the mobile phone set to be released earlier than expected, it will also feature a whole host of upgrades on previous models.
The latest version could ship with a dual-core processor, video chat, an enhanced OLED display, a removable battery and improved graphical performance, after reports suggested that each of these features may be present in the new iPhone.
This news comes shortly after the world's first full-size QWERTY keyboard which has been purpose-designed and built for the iPhone was released.
ION's iType will also charge the mobile phone when it is slotted into the dock located in the keyboard.
