Once again highlighting the ongoing shift towards business mobile solutions, Adobe has announced that it has made its Flash Player 10.1 available in beta.
While this will only be available for use on PCs or laptops running on Windows of Linux, The Register has reported that 10.1 will soon be made available for mobile workers.
According to the website, the programme will be rolled out on "all mobile platforms", including the iPhone, and will support most leading operating systems, such as Windows Mobile 6.5.
However, a spokesman for Adobe stated that it is likely the launch of its latest player will be staggered across various platforms over the short-to-medium-term future.
As well as all the usual features, the Flash Player 10.1 for mobiles is set to feature Smart Reconnect, which will enable users to play back content on their mobile devices, go offline, and then pick up where they left off without any waiting.
