I started my journey with Outsourcery back in August 2000 as a customer service advisor, operating several roles throughout the Company before completing my journey into Management as a Team Manager.
My responsibilities include managing a team of 5 within the Channel Services Business Unit whose duties range from diagnosing technical faults related to BlackBerry, data cards and Windows Mobile devices to providing expert advice on hosted Exchange services and control panel issues. We also manage everything from general Business Partner enquiries and billing queries to tariff reviews, SIM activations, responding to Business Partner emails and dealing with questions about My Account, our self-serve customer account site.
A typical day consists of the continued development of the Channel Business unit so as to improve communication and responsiveness, chairing Business Partner conference call's to team escalations, side by side development and coaching plans.
Outsourcery has provided me with the opportunity to further my career through internal and external training and development whilst recognising and rewarding hard work and the contribution of others. Outsourcery offers fantastic employee benefits in addition to actively encouraging an innovative and positive working environment.
I joined Outsourcery in May 2004 in the capacity of customer analyst and since then, developed my skills into a commercial analyst and further more become a qualified management accountant.
My day consists of providing and analysing financial information and reporting as well as managing another member of the finance team.
Since joining Outsourcery I have been involved in setting up all the financial procedures for the indirect channel, assisted in the implementation and continuous improvements of the Company accounting software and through the support of Outsourcery I have managed to fully complete my CIMA studies, enhancing my theoretical accounting knowledge and skill set.
I joined Outsourcery during 2002 for the challenging opportunity of building a proactive human resources team that was closely aligned to the business strategy. Since then I have progressed from managing the HR Services to leading HR and Training as Head of HR and then progressed to become HR & Development Director in January 2009.
What's important to me when considering a career move is the challenge of the role, the type of industry I work in and the opportunity to make a difference as I like to continuously learn and develop within any role I undertake. Outsourcery is certainly a fantastic environment in which I achieve my top three job satisfiers!
Since being with the business we have been through a management buyout and four acquisitions which has led to a company rebrand and the chance to shape the culture and identity into what we want it to be. We have created an environment within an interesting and progressive industry offering a variety of opportunities for development and growth. Everyone at Outsourcery can really get involved in building the culture and have their say in how we should continuously improve to ensure it continues to be a great place to work.
If you want to work for a company that's in an exciting and innovative industry, has opportunities for personal development, expects hard work but allows you to make a difference and get rewarded for doing so, then Outsourcery is the business for you!
