Ken Olisa - Non-Executive Chairman  

Ken brings a wealth of technology, financial and strategic advisory experience to Outsourcery as well as a background in international technology sales and marketing.

Ken's technology career spans over 30 years, commencing with IBM before joining Wang Laboratories in 1981. He founded Interregnum, the technology merchant bank in 1992 and led that company through its IPO on London’s AIM in 2000. Ken retired from Interregnum in 2006 and now runs the boutique technology merchant bank Restoration Partners.

Ken is currently a Director of Thomson Reuters (where he is a member of the Audit Committee). He was formerly a Director (and Chair of the Remuneration Committee) of Canada’s largest software developer, Open Text Corporation and served as a Director of FTSE 50 ENRC (Eurasian Natural Resources Corporation) from 2008 to 2011. 

andy burton - Non-Executive director 

Andy’s career spans over 25 years, commencing with Securicor Group where he was first appointed an MD before joining the Chubb Security Group in 1996. Andy expanded from electronic security into Information Security at Baltimore and subsequently Clearswift, before moving more broadly into IT and Software Asset Management as CEO of Centennial Software, which he built up and sold to FrontRange Solutions in 2008. 

Since 2008, Andy has been working in the hosting and cloud services markets, bringing his knowledge of the software development and IT markets to a service delivery business model.  Andy is currently a non-executive director of the Federation Against Software Theft, the Cloud Industry Forum and the enterprise software and services firm Concorde Software.

 

Piers Linney - Co-CEO 

Although Piers is best described as an entrepreneur, he has a professional background in the City. After studying Accounting and Law at The University of Manchester, he qualified as a solicitor in the City with SJ Berwin. He left law to join the UK investment banking team at Barclays de Zoete Wedd (where he met Simon Newton in 1997) and then Credit Suisse, where he specialised in M&A and LBOs.  Piers left banking in 2000 to start an Internet business and has since been involved in a number of technology, media and telecommunications businesses as a founder, director, investor or adviser. After becoming the CEO of a corporate finance boutique, Piers became a partner in an alternative investment fund providing structured debt and equity financing to small cap public companies.
 
Piers sits on the governance board of the UK’s Cloud Industry Forum and regularly appears in the media to discuss the benefits of Cloud computing. He was recognised in the JP Morgan sponsored Power List 2013 as one of the top 100 most influential black Britons.  Piers is a major shareholder and board director of Outsourcery.

Simon Newton - co-ceo

Simon qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG in London and joined the firm's nascent mergers and acquisitions department. He then moved his advisory career to the next level as a banker with a stint at the London-based Hambros Bank (now part of Société Générale) before joining Barclays de Zoete Wedd; which was subsequently acquired by Credit Suisse First Boston in January 1998 - where he met business partner, Piers Linney.
 
Simon joined ING in 2000, working in the Dutch investment banks corporate finance division where he was appointed Managing Director, Corporate Finance in 2006.  Simon's M&A experience has also been brought to bear on the subsequent three acquisitions and disposals that led to the development of Outsourcery.  Simon is a major shareholder and board director of Outsourcery.

David Burke - finance director

David originally spent four years with Ernst & Young in their Melbourne audit practice before moving to the UK in 1995.
 
In the time since, David has held several roles for the Atex Media Group, the world's leading IT specialist in developing and installing software solutions for the media industry. Originally as part of the groups M&A division, David became the UK Finance Director before moving on to head up the financial division for the company’s EMEA businesses.  In 2002 David became the Group CFO, moving the head office to the UK and working closely with the Board to restructure and refinance the group.
 
In 2006 David left Atex and took up a consultancy role to help manage the sale and transfer of The Link to O2 for DSG International plc, before becoming involved in the management buyout of Outsourcery, from DSG International plc. He has been the Finance Director of Outsourcery since April 2007 and is a shareholder in the business.
 

Simon Howitt - sales director

Simon is focused on securing, developing and managing Strategic Partner relationships across the business.  Simon joined Outsourcery in January 2010 to head up the newly created Channel Business Unit. From 2005 to 2009 Simon was Sales and Marketing Director at Yes Telecom, a Vodafone owned specialist B2B Service provider.
 
Prior to joining Yes, Simon's career was developed working in major London advertising agencies where he honed his strategic and account management skills and where he embraced the telecoms and technology, working on the launch of a number of high profile organisations.
 

James Griffin - director of product strategy and marketing

With over 10 years' experience in the hosting industry, James is responsible for driving the cloud services and go to market strategy at Outsourcery. Prior to joining, he was Director of Hosting Strategy at Star and was responsible for transforming their business into a mid-market cloud service provider. James also held a variety of senior management roles at service providers Fasthosts and Namesco helping them both to establish positions amongst the leading service providers in the world. James joined Outsourcery in 2011 as Director of Product Strategy
 

Dan Germain - customer operations director

As Customer Operations Director, Dan now leads the end-to-end customer support and on-boarding delivery teams, accountable for the support of Outsourcery cloud services and customer satisfaction.  Since joining Outsourcery in August 2010 as Director of Hosting Infrastructure, Dan has delivered a next-generation, business-grade hosting platform based on Microsoft Hyper-V and System Center, with business automation from Parallels Automation.

With a background in the hosting industry spanning 10 years, Dan previously held the position of CTO at Cobweb enabling them to become one of Europe’s leading Hosted Exchange providers. 
  

Ryan O'Reilly - director of infrastructure

Ryan has over 14 years' experience in the hosted communications and IT industry. His role as Director of Infrastructure includes building out and managing the Outsourcery data centres, virtualised platforms, core IP network and telecommunications infrastructure in addition to our Unified Communications solutions.

With a background in designing, implementing and managing carrier class Data Centres, VoIP and IP infrastructures for a number of large telecommunications companies, Ryan’s experience has helped several converged managed service providers achieve market leading status.
 

Damon Crawford - sales operations Director

Damon is responsible for managing the sales and consulting teams.  Damon has held a variety of roles at Outsourcery and joined Outsourcery to help drive cloud-based solution sales.  Since joining Damon has built the Pre-Sales and Professional Services teams and has also been responsible for the evolution of the support teams to support cloud-based services.

Damon worked at leading IT and network solutions providers Basilica (now BT Engage IT) and Everlogic (now Azzurri) in sales management roles before moving to THUS plc. In his seven years there he had an assortment of roles, which included starting up both the security and the mobile data practices.
